Overview Philippine trip (Apr. 17-May 22,2009)

April 17, 2009 we flew to the Philippines via KLM airline at 2:10 pm.
We arrived at NAIA airport on April 18, 2009 at 8:45 am. We checked-in at Tower inn, Makati and met Carolyn at 3 pm that afternoon without her knowing I was together with André. The following morning, Liza called up so we could meet. We were still in Makati then. Nobody from my family knew that I was here.
On April 20, Ate Tina was supposed to fetch André but ended up fetching me instead and we went to Sariaya while André stayed in Makati to attend yoga classes at Yoga Manila situated in Makati.
On April 23, we went to Quezon City to attend Ate Tina’s master graduation at UP Diliman on April 24, 2009. We stayed at Liza’s house. Ate Tina treated us in a vegetarian restaurant and in the afternoon visited auntie Cel in Quezon City. That evening, we visited our Jumawan relatives at Marathon, Quezon City.
On April 25, we met Kuya Arthur, Kuya Gelo and Ate Miles for a dinner in SM Ortigas. On April 26, we met Marissa at French Baker, SM Megamall after André had his yoga lesson at Edsa Shangril Plaza, Ortigas.
All of these were surprise visits because they didn’t have a clue that I was together with André.
On April 26 before lunch we rode a bus to Dagupan and got off at Capas junction in Tarlac. We hired a tricycle to drop us off at Spa Town in Bgy. Sta. Juliana, the startpoint for trekking to Mt. Pinatubo.
On April 27, we went to Mt. Pinatubo at 6:25 am. Before lunch, we were back at the restaurant. That evening, we slept at an inn at McArthur highway, Capas.
On April 28, we left Capas for Laoag, Ilocos Norte at 4:30 am.
On April 29, we went to Paoay at around 7 am and stayed there until the evening.
On April 30, we left Laoag before lunch and arrived in Vigan early afternoon. We stayed there until May 3.
On May 4, we arrived at around 4:30 am in Cubao and met our Manhit relatives in the afternoon.
On May 5, we went back to Sariaya and I stayed there until May 21. André celebrated his 43rd birthday at Tatay’s house on May 10. Our Sariaya relatives were invited.
On May 11, he went to Mt. Mayon until May 14 while Tatay, Ate Tina, Ate Girlie and I went to Mamala and swam in the swimming pool of Ate Girlie’s farm.
On May 14, my friends Carolyn and Lea arrived in Sariaya for the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban and Agawan festival in Sariaya the following morning.
On May 15, we went to Lucban at 5:30 am to witness the colorful decorations. At around 10 am, we were back in Sariaya to witness the Agawan festival in the afternoon. We joined the procession at around 3 pm.
On May 16, the Dedace family had a potluck lunch at Ate Girlie’s farm in Mamala which is in the foot of the mountains.
On May 17, my brod Lyle and sisses Mary and Ang visited me in Sariaya.
On May 18, together with Ate Girlie, Kuya Gelo, Kuya Eric, Ate Tina, André and I, we had a day trip to Laguna and visited the old churches of Pakil, Paete, Majayjay, Liliw and Nagcarlan.
On May 19, we had a dinner at Silangang Nayon in Lucena City.
On May 21, we checked-in at Tower Inn, Makati and met Lorna in the evening for a dinner.
On May 22, 2009, we flew back to Holland at 10:25 am. The same day that evening, we landed at Schiphol airport at half past 6 pm.
